Adding an exclusion for a traffic processing rule
To add an exclusion for a traffic processing rule:
- In the application web interface window, select one of the following sections:
- For actions with rules of an individual workspace, in the section used for switching between workspaces, select the name of this workspace.
 - For actions with rules applied in all workspaces, select Global in the section used for switching between workspaces.
 
Applicable only if you have access rights to multiple workspaces.
  - Select the Rules section.
 - Select one of the following tabs:
- Bypass.
 - Access.
 - Protection.
 
The traffic processing rules table opens.
  - Select the traffic processing rule for which you want to add an exclusion.
This opens a window containing information about the rule.
  - Click Edit.
 - Select the Exclusions tab.
 - Click + Add exclusion.
The Exclusion exclusion settings group is displayed.
  - Add the initiator of the connection. To do so, click 
. - Configure the following settings:
- Select one of the following options in the Initiator drop-down list:
- User name.
 - LDAP: group canonicalName.
 - LDAP: user distinguishedName.
 - IP address.
 - User agent.
 
 - In the field to the right of the drop-down list, enter the value for the selected setting.
 - If you want to add a new connection initiator, repeat the steps to add a connection initiator.
 
 - Add a traffic filtering criterion. To do so, click 
. - Configure the following settings:
- Select one of the following options in the Traffic filter drop-down list:
- Category.
 - URL.
 - File name.
 - File type.
 - File size, KB.
 - MIME type of HTTP message.
 - MIME type of HTTP message part.
 - MD5.
 - SHA256.
 - Traffic direction.
 - HTTP Method.
 
 - In the field to the right of the drop-down list, enter the value for the selected setting.
 - If you want to add a new filtering criterion, repeat the steps for adding a criterion.
 
 - Click Save.
 
The exclusion for the traffic processing rule is added.
