On-Screen Keyboard in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2018
Use On-Screen Keyboard to protect your confidential data, such as logins and passwords for online stores, against spyware. Spyware registers keystrokes whenever you are using a hardware keyboard. This information is then transferred to criminals over the Internet.
On-Screen Keyboard protects your data in the following browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 and later
- Microsoft Edge 38.x and later
- Mozilla Firefox 52.x and later
- Google Chrome 45.x – 55.x
- Mozilla Firefox ESR 52.x and later
To launch On-Screen Keyboard, restart the computer after installing the product and enable the Kaspersky Protection plugin.
How to open On-Screen Keyboard
You can open On-Screen Keyboard from:
- the application’s shortcut menu
- the main window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2018
- the browser window

In the lower-right corner of the Desktop, right-click the application icon and select On-Screen Keyboard from the shortcut menu.
If the application icon is not displayed in the notification area, click the Show hidden icons arrow .

How to open On-Screen Keyboard from a browser window
On the browser toolbar, click on the Kaspersky Protection extension icon and select On-Screen Keyboard.
How to use keyboard shortcuts on the On-Screen Keyboard
- Click the first key of the combination on the On-Screen Keyboard, and then the second. For example, to use the Alt+F4 shortcut, click Alt first, and then click F4.
- Click the first key again (In this case, Alt). The second click of the key has the same effect as releasing the key on a hardware keyboard.
How to switch the keyboard layout when using On-Screen Keyboard
- Press Ctrl on the hardware keyboard, and right-click Shift on the On-Screen Keyboard.
- Press Shift on the hardware keyboard, and right-click Alt on the On-Screen Keyboard.
- Press Ctrl+Shift or Alt+Shift on the hardware keyboard.
