Issue

When activating a Kaspersky application, a network connection error may occur.

Cause

The network connection error may occur if proxy server details are set incorrectly or the activation server is unavailable.

Solution

These recommendations apply to devices running Windows 10.
  1. Try activating the application again after some time (e.g., in an hour). The activation server may be temporarily unavailable.
  2. Make sure that your device is updated or install the latest Windows updates using the Windows Update service. See the instructions on the Microsoft support website.
  3. Disable a proxy server in the Kaspersky application.
  4. Reset Internet Explorer settings.
  5. Configure the DNS server.
