Limitations of Kaspersky Security Сloud in 64-bit operating systems

The article refers to Kaspersky Security Cloud — Family and Kaspersky Security Cloud — Personal.
If you have a 64-bit operating system, Kaspersky Security Сloud functions will be limited:
Protection against screenshots
Kaspersky Security Сloud does not provide protection against screenshots in Microsoft Windows 8 and 8.1 64-bit if the On-Screen Keyboard is open, but Safe Browser is not running.
Hypervisor-powered protection against screenshots is not available on 64-bit operating systems Windows 8/8.1/10 in case:
- A third-party hypervisor is running, e.g. VMware.
While a third-party hypervisor is not running, protection against screenshots is available. - Your CPU does not support x86 virtualization.
You can find out whether your CPU support x86 virtualization or not in your computer technical documentation or on its manufacturer's site.
Application permissions configuration
In 64-bit operating systems, the following applications' rights are restricted (and can not be found in the application interface):
- Direct access to physical memory
- Managing printer driver
- Service creation
- Service reading
- Service editing
- Service configuration
- Service management
- Service start
- Service removal
- Access to internal browser data
- Access to critical objects of the operating system
- Access to password storage
- Setting debug privileges
- Use of program interfaces of the operating system
- Use of program interfaces of the operating system (DNS)
In 64-bit Microsoft Windows 8, the following applications' permissions are restricted:
- Sending window messages to other processes
- Suspicious operations
- Interceptor installation
- Intercepting incoming messages of the stream
- Taking screenshots
