How to enable or disable protection in Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac

Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac protects your Mac in full if its license is active and the Kaspersky Security browser extension is installed and enabled.
We do not recommend that you turn protection off. Without protection, your Mac can get infected and there is a risk of data loss.
Protection is disabled if:
- The application icon in the upper-right corner is inactive
- The main window shows a notification “Protection is disabled”.
How to enable protection from the application window
- Open Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac.
- Click Enable.
Protection is enabled.
How to enable or disable protection in the context menu
To enable or disable protection, click the application icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select Turn Protection On or Turn Protection Off.
How to enable or disable protection in the preferences window
- Click the application icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and open Preferences.
- Select or clear the Enable protection checkbox.
The protection status was changed.
How to enable protection through My Kaspersky
- Sign in to your account on My Kaspersky.
- Go to the Devices section.
- Find your Mac on which Kaspersky Internet Security 19 is installed and click Manage.
- Click Turn On.
Protection is enabled.
