Network connection error during activation

A network connection error may occur when activating a Kaspersky application.

Cause

The error may occur if proxy server details are set incorrectly or the activation server is unavailable.

Solution

These recommendations apply to devices running Windows 10.
  1. Try activating the application again after a short while (e.g. in an hour). The activation server may be temporarily unavailable.
  2. Make sure your computer has latest updates installed or install the latest Windows updates using the Windows Update service. For instructions, see the Microsoft support site.
  3. Disable proxy in the Kaspersky application. See the guide below.
  4. Reset Internet Explorer settings. See the guide below.
