Scenario: Local update using Kaspersky Security Center Web Console

A local update of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 consists of the following steps:
- Updating the solution for centralized network security management
Update Kaspersky Security Center to version 14, including the Network Agent components on user computers and Kaspersky Security Center Web Console.
- Installing a new version of the web plug-in
Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.5 web plug-in.
Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is supported by Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 11.7 and later. For details on supported versions of the applications, refer to the Software requirements section.

- Completing the Policy and Task Migration Wizard
Skip this step if you are updating Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum from version 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2.
Start the Policy and Task Migration Wizard and go through all the steps in the wizard.
- Updating EPP applications
Update EPP applications to a version that supports Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 functionality on the devices you want to protect. It is recommended to install Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.5.
Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is supported by Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 11.7 and later. For details on supported versions of the applications, refer to the Software requirements section.
For information on the updating the application and migrating the configuration to Kaspersky Endpoint Security, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help.
Devices protected by Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 1 or 1.1, on which the EPP application cannot be updated to a version that supports Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3, remain protected by the previous version of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum.
