Actions Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server can take on objects

This article concerns Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server Maintenance Pack 3 (version 8.0.3.30).
 
 
 
 

Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server applies an action to each message after scanning according to the scan results:

  • Skip. The message will be delivered to the recipient without changes.
  • Reject. The message will not be delivered to the recipient. The sender’s mail server will receive an error message.
  • DeleteMessage. The sender's mail server will not receive an error message and the message will not be delivered to the recipient.
  • DeleteAttachment. This action is applied based on Anti-Virus Scan and Content Filtering results. 
  • Cure. This action is only applied based on Anti-Virus Scan results. 
  • Apply DMARC policy. The DMARC policy is configured by the mail server administrator on the DNS server.
