Note: You can only change the main password if your Mac is connected to the internet and there are no synchronization issues.

Enter the new main password and click Sync. The data on your device will be replaced with data from the device on which the main password has been changed.
If you don’t remember the new main password, you can replace data on other devices with data from this device and use your previous main password:
Click the I don’t know the new main password link.
In the dialog that appears, click Replace Data on Other Devices.
To confirm this operation, you need to enter the verification code that was emailed to you and click Confirm.
The data in the vaults on other devices will be replaced with the data on this device.
