How to install Kaspersky Security Cloud
Download the Kaspersky Security Cloud installer
Click the Download button to download a trial version of Kaspersky Security Cloud from our online shop.
The article refers to Kaspersky Security Cloud — Family and Kaspersky Security Cloud — Personal.
Before you start:
- Check if your computer meets the system requirements for Kaspersky Security Cloud.
- Check if you have other Kaspersky Lab products or incompatible third-party antivirus software installed on your computer.
- Remove the detected incompatible software.
- Close all running applications.
Download, install, and activate Kaspersky Security Cloud
Step 1. Sign in to your My Kaspersky account. If you do not have an account, please create one by clicking on Create an account.
Step 2. Got to the Licenses tab and enter the activation code in the Add an activation code box at the bottom of the page.
Step 3. Go to the Summary tab and click Protect new device.
Step 4. Scroll down to Kaspersky Security Cloud and click Download. You can also click send by e-mail and send a link to download the application to an e-mail address.
Step 5. After downloading the installation file, double-click the .exe file to start the installation.

Detailed installation
Step 1. Download the installer from the Kaspersky Lab website. Double-click the downloaded file.
Step 2. Click Continue.
Step 3. Open the End User License Agreement. If you accept it, leave the check box selected.
Step 4. Read the Kaspersky Security Network statement. If you accept it, leave the check box selected.
Step 5. The Kaspersky Secure Connection application will be installed along with Kaspersky Security Cloud. It provides the protection of your Internet connection. If the application shows you the the information about additional protection components, read the text and click Install.
Step 6. Use recommended protection against adware and take a tour through the application features. Make sure the check boxes are selected and click Finish.
Step 7. Wait until the application is installed and click Finish.
When your application is installed and running, activate Kaspersky Security Cloud.
Installation via the command line
If you know how to use the command line, you can install Kaspersky Security Cloud in the silent mode. To do it:
- Download he installer from the Kaspersky Lab website or use the link in the email message from the online store.
- Open the command line (Search -> cmd.exe).
- Drag-and-drop the installer to the command line window. The installer file path will appear in the command line.
- In the command line, type a command to run the installer, with the necessary parameters and options (see Command line installation parameters and properties).
- After you enter the command, press Enter on the keyboard. The Kaspersky Security Cloud installation will start with the parameters applied.
- Follow the instructions of the wizard.

By using the pSKIPPRODUCTCHECK=1 parameter, you assume responsibility for the possible consequences of Kaspersky Security Cloud incompatibility with other applications.
SKIPPRODUCTCHECK=1 parameter allows you to ignore only those applications that should be removed manually.
Example:
allows a computer restart and skips the incompatible software check.
