An activation code is a unique sequence of 20 letters and numerals in the format xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx. If you have an activation code, you can enter it on My Kaspersky to activate the unlimited version of the application.
The subscription period starts from the date when the activation code is used for the first time on a device.
If you lose or accidentally delete your activation code after activating the application, contact Kaspersky Customer Service.
, you can enter it in the application to activate Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection subscription.
To enter activation code in the application:
Open the main application window and click the Enter activation code link to proceed to the activation code entry window.
In the entry field, enter the activation code and click the Activate button.
The application activation attempt will be made:
If activation succeeded, the message is displayed informing that the application is activated and all restrictions are eliminated. Click OK.
If an error occurred during activation of the application, do the following:
Disconnect your device from My Kaspersky and reconnect it. Enter the activation code again.
Click the Details button.
This will take you to My Kaspersky where you can check the status of your subscription. For more details on application activation errors please refer to My Kaspersky Help.
To renew a subscription for Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection:
Open the main application window.
Click the Renew subscription button.
The application will offer you one of the following options for where you can renew your subscription:
On the My Kaspersky page.
At the online store of our partner.
At a third-party online store.
When renewing a subscription, the subscription provider may differ from the provider with whom you registered the subscription.
If the My Kaspersky page is opened in the browser:
Enter the email address and password that you specified when creating your account on My Kaspersky. If you do not have an account, you can create an account.
On the My Kaspersky page, go to the Licenses section.
You will be redirected to Kaspersky website where you can purchase a subscription.
If the eStore page opened in the browser:
Purchase subscription to Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection.
After completing your purchase, the activation code for your subscription will be sent to your email address.
On My Kaspersky, go to the Subscriptions section.
Enter the activation code and click the Add button.
A subscription for Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection is displayed in the window. To begin using the Unlimited version of the application, connect your device to My Kaspersky.
You can also use Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection on devices running Android, iOS or macOS.
You can cancel your Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection subscription. A canceled subscription is not automatically renewed, and you will be able to use the subscription until the last paid period expires.
To avoid unnecessary expenses, you should cancel your subscription before the payment date for the next period. Note that the payment for the next period is made before the current period expires. 30 days in advance of the expiration date of the current period, we will send information about subscription renewal conditions to the email address you provided when making the order.
The steps involved in canceling your subscription vary depending on the payment services provider from which you purchased your subscription.
To cancel the subscription:
Check the inbox for the email address you specified when making your purchase. In the order confirmation message or the subscription renewal reminder message, you will find a link to your account on the of the payment provider website, or a link to your automatic renewal management page.
Click the link.
In your default browser, you will be taken to the login page on the payment provider website, or your personalized page for managing automatic renewal.
You can cancel your Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection subscription on the page with information about renewal.
The subscription is canceled. A cancellation confirmation email is sent to your email address.
To cancel your subscription in your My Kaspersky account:
Canceling the subscription via the My Kaspersky account is not available in some regions.
Open the main application window.
In the main application window, click the button.
Go to the Profile section. Click the Details button.
This opens a window with subscription information; in that window, click Manage subscription.
This opens your My Kaspersky account in your browser.
By default, you are taken to the Subscriptions section on your subscription information page.
Click Manage subscription. In the drop-down list, select Cancel subscription.
This option is available only if you have previously activated a subscription with auto-renewal.
You will be taken to the subscription management page on the payment provider's website in a new browser window.
You can cancel your Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection subscription on the page with information about renewal.
The subscription is canceled. A cancellation confirmation email is sent to your email address.
The number of devices with unlimited VPN is determined by the terms of the subscription. And you can flexibly manage this subscription by connecting or disconnecting certain devices.
To add a device to a subscription:
Open the main application window.
In the main application window, click the button.
Select Profile.
In the Profile window, click the Details button to view the subscription details.
If you are connected to My Kaspersky, click the Manage subscription button that takes you to the My Kaspersky website where you can add a device to your subscription.
If you are not connected to My Kaspersky, but your license is associated with a My Kaspersky account, you will be prompted to connect to My Kaspersky. Then you can add a device to your subscription on the My Kaspersky website.
If your license is not associated with a My Kaspersky account, you need to specify a license key on the device that you want to connect to your subscription.
Whenever you try to connect more devices than is allowed by your subscription, instead of seeing the Disconnect device from subscription link in the Profile window you will see the Manage devices button that takes you to My Kaspersky. To disconnect a device from a subscription:
Open the main application window.
In the main application window, click the button.
Select Profile.
In the Profile window, click the Details button to view the subscription details.
If you are connected to My Kaspersky, click the Manage subscription button that takes you to the My Kaspersky website where you can disconnect a device from your subscription.
If you are not connected to My Kaspersky, click the information icon (i) next to the subscription status, and then click the Disconnect device from subscription link.
A window opens to confirm detaching the device from the subscription.
The device will be disconnected from a subscription.
