Connection to Active Directory with Microsoft ADV190023 update released in Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 1.1

This article concerns Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 1.1 Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 3 (version 1.1.2.30).

After Microsoft ADV190023 update release, use SSL or TLS encryption when connecting to Active Directory.

This mean is necessary because the following happens when establishing a non-encrypted connection:

• The application cannot connect to Active Directory.
• Errors may occur in message processing rules.
• Users cannot connect to Personal Backup.
