How files are scanned in cloud storages connected to Windows 10

Starting from Windows 10 RS3, you can configure online access to files stored in cloud services (such as OneDrive). To do so, enable the Files On-Demand feature. The files will then be displayed in File Explorer. While you are connected to the Internet, you will be able to use these files like any other file on your computer.

If Kaspersky Total Security detects these files during a scan, you will receive a notification that files in the cloud storage weren’t scanned. These files will be scanned by File Anti-Virus when they are opened or edited.
