Kaspersky Battery Life is a battery-saving app. It helps you optimize your device to keep it running longer.

Estimate your battery life

Kaspersky Battery Life performs comprehensive analysis of battery consumption over several charging and discharging periods. Based on the results of this analysis, Kaspersky Battery Life estimates the following:

• Time left until the battery is discharged (with current power consumption, in sleep mode and in active mode)
• The time needed to fully charge the battery.
• The amount of battery life you can save by stopping each app.

  Due to certain aspects of Android 7 and later versions, the time you can save by stopping each app is not displayed on devices running these operating systems.

You can use these estimates to decide to stop some or all apps to make your battery last longer.

Please note that when Kaspersky Battery Life is first started it gives rough estimates. The app needs time to analyze battery consumption over several charging and discharging periods to provide you with precise estimates.

Get timely notifications

Kaspersky Battery Life notifies you when:

• Apps are consuming lots of power.
• Screen brightness is consuming lots of power when the battery is low.
• The battery is almost discharged.
• The battery is fully charged.

You can configure these notifications in the app settings.

Due to certain aspects of Android 7 and later versions, the app does not notify you about battery-draining apps on devices running these operating systems.

Optimize your battery usage

Kaspersky Battery Life lets you optimize battery usage when you need your device to keep working. Kaspersky Battery Life displays the list of running apps that you can stop without causing any problems for your device. You choose which apps to stop. Kaspersky Battery Life does not stop any apps without your knowledge.

Add favorite apps

If there are apps that you want to run all the time (for example, a messaging app or a health-related app), you can add them to the special Favorites list. Kaspersky Battery Life does not invite you to stop your favorite apps, so you can be sure you won't stop them unintentionally.

Quickly access app features

Add a Kaspersky Battery Life widget to your home screen or to the notification area and lock screen. You will have quick access to the main app features:

• Battery percentage.
• Time left until the battery is discharged.
• Ability to stop running apps in a single tap.
