Some errors might occur when deleting Kaspersky Anti-Virus product via Start > Control Panel > Add\Remove Programs. As a result the program will not be uninstalled or will be partially uninstalled.

Removal utility allows uninstalling the following products: 

• Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0\7.0\2009\2010
• Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0\7.0\2009\2010
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations (6.0.2.687-6.0.3.837)
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers (6.0.2.687-6.0.3.837)

Under 64-bit OSs the removal utility can uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009/2010 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009/2010 only.

In order to fully uninstall the product: 

• Download the archive kavremover10.zip 
• Unpack the file kavremover10.exe from the archive 
• Run the file kavremover10.exe
• Enter the code from the picture 
• Click the Remove button 

• Wait until a dialog window informs you of successful product removal 
• Click OK

• Reboot your computer

If by some reasons the remove utility has not found the installed product in the OS and you are sure the product is installed and/or some modules still remain, then to skip product check, run the utility from the command prompt with the following syntax kavremover10.exe [kav6 | kav7 | kav2009 | kav2009x64| kav2010 | kav2010x64 | kis6 | kis7 | kis2009 | kis2009x64 | kis2010 | kis2010x64 | kav6fs | kav6wks]. For example if Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 was installed on your PC in this case the command will look the following way kavremover10.exe kis2010.
