When working with your computer you may experience strange network/ disk activity similar to malware/ virus activity, however Kaspersky Anti-Virus with the latest anti-virus updates does not detect any suspicious for infection/ infected file. In this case you are recommended to use the following additional means to detect, disinfect and delete viruses and any traces of their activity from your PC:
Perform either one or all of the given recommendations.
Scan your computer in the Safe mode with the latest updates of threat signatures;
Enable detection of all threat types (without exceptions) and scan your computer:
Use a free online scanner and scan your computer with the latest updates of threat signatures;
Enable deep scan both for the Rootkit scan and Heuristic analysis. Scan your computer with the corresponding settings
Send suspicious files for analysis to Kaspersky Lab newvirus@kaspersky.com (before sending the files, pack these files into an archive with the password infected; give the password in the mail to virus experts).
