Application Startup Control

Application Startup Control is only available with a select or advanced license. For more information about how functions in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows might differ under different types of licenses, see this article.

File Anti-Virus

File Anti-Virus protects the computer file system. It runs when the operating system is started and remains running in the computer’s RAM scanning all files that are opened, saved, or started on both the computer and all connected drives. File Anti-Virus intercepts every attempt to access a file and scans the file for viruses and other malicious programs.

Firewall protects personal data stored on the user’s computer and blocks all possible threats to the operating system while the computer is connected to the Internet or to a local area network. The component filters all network activity according to two types of rules: application network rules and network packet rules.

Network Attack Blocker

This component monitors inbound network traffic for activity that is typical of network attacks. If a network attack attempt is detected on the user’s computer, the application blocks the network activity of the attacking computer.
