Anti-phishing is a feature of Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft SharePoint Server designed for protecting user's personal data against theft.

Anti-phishing scan of SharePoint web parts detects phishing URLs embedded in the text of web parts. Phishing links take users to fraudulent websites designed to steal private data entered in web forms. The application performs phishing scan when a SharePoint web part is created or modified. If the phishing scan detects at least one URL appearing on lists of phishing URLs, the application assigns the Phishing label to the web part. When a malicious link is detected in a SharePoint web part, the application will perform the action specified in the Content Filtering section. If the option Block is selected, the application will display the message that creating or editing the web content is impossible.

To protect SharePoint servers against phishing, Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft SharePoint Server uses the phishing URL database maintained by Kaspersky Lab engineers. The URL database is continuously updated and comes as a component of Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft SharePoint Server installation package. For additional protection, you can use the Kaspersky Security Network service. It uses cloud computing technology that provides up-to-date information about threats before they are included in Kaspersky Lab anti-phishing databases.
