Hypervisor-powered protection against screenshots does not work in Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for Personal Computer

In some cases, on computers running under Windows 8 / Windows 8.1, hypervisor-powered protection against screenshots in the installed and running Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for PC may not be supported in full due to the following reasons:

  • Hardware incompatibility.
  • Support is disabled by klhk/klif settings.
  • Blocked in BIOS settings. Solution: enable third-party hypervisor support in BIOS settings.
  • Blocked by other software. Solution: close all applications that use the hypervisor (for example, VMWare) and restart the protected browser.
  • Protection is not enabled in the product settings
