How to enable or disable Self-Defense in Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for PC

Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 features the Self-Defense component that protects the application from malware and ensures its stable operation. In some cases, you may need to disable Self-Defense (for example, for deleting large trace files).

To enable or disable Self-Defense, do the following:

  1. Open Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for PC.
  2. In the lower left corner of the main application window, click Settings.

  1. If the access to the application settings is password-protected, enter your password and click Continue.

  1. In the Settings window, go to the Additional section and select Self-Defense in the right frame.

  1. Select or clear the Enable Self-Defense check box.

  1. In the Attention! window, Click Continue.

Click the Continue button.
