Known issues

  • Devices that are connected via LPT may not work properly. To enable full functionality of such devices, we recommend that you stop Kaspersky Small Office Security 4.
  • Data will not be added to a data vault if the entire hard drive is selected as the data for encryption.
  • At the first startup of the application which attempts to access the webcam, a notification about webcam use may be displayed twice.
  • When displaying the category of a link, the name of the category may not fit the size of the highlighted string.
  • The keyboard input language cannot be switched if the mouse pointer is over a protected entry field. No changes are seen on the screen, and the notification is not displayed. You need to move the cursor to another input field, switch the language, and then go back to the protected field.
  • When several security issues are detected while Protected Browser is running, the application notifies about only one of these issues. As soon as the indicated issue is fixed, the notification for the next protection issue is displayed.
  • Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 shows no notifications when Protected Browser cannot be run if the current version of Google Chrome is not supported (note that versions earlier than Google Chrome 33 are not supported).
  • When entering text in entry fields on some web pages, this text may be partially overlapped by the Virtual Keyboard icon.
  • The report of Web Policy Management contains the internal ID's of Twitter contacts, not user names.
  • If you have rejected disinfection of the detected object with computer restart (a successful disinfection attempt without computer restart) and further restoring of the deleted object from Quarantine manually, this object will be permanently deleted the next time the computer is restarted.
  • The option Block capturing screenshots in Protected Browser cannot be enabled in the Safe Money settings on computers with AMD processors.
