When using the TeamViewer application to manage your computer remotely, you will not be able to remotely change antivirus settings of Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for Personal Computer due to the application self-defense settings.

If you want to manage Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 remotely via TeamViewer, you must add TeamViewer to the trusted applications list. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for Personal Computer.
  2. At the bottom of the main application window, click Settings.

  1. In the Settings window, go to the Additional section and select Threats and exclusions in the right frame.

  1. In the Exclusions section, click the link Specify trusted applications.

  1. In the Trusted applications window, click Add.

  1. Find the TeamViever application in the list. If it is not present in the list, click Browse in the lower left part of the window.

Click the Browse link.

  1. In the Open window:
    • If TeamViewer is installed on your computer, select the file C:\Program Files\TeamViewer\TeamViewer_Desktop.exe.
    • If Teamviewer is running without installation, enable display of hidden files and folders and select the file C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Temp\TeamViewer\TeamViewer_Desktop.exe.
  2. Click Open.

  1. In the Exclusions for application view, select the check box Do not monitor application activity and click Add.

  1. TeamViewer has been added to Trusted applications.

  1. Close the Trusted applications window.
