Hosts running on Windows may return a critical error after the installation or update of Kaspersky Network Agent to version 10.3.407 if the hardware registry details reporting is enabled in the Network Agent settings.

Solution:

If hardware registry details reporting on malfunctioning machines cannot be disabled on the host, please contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support. Otherwise, you can elominate the problem by disabling this option using one of the following methods:

  • In the properties of the Network Agent policy:

ksc10_13037_01

  • In the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\Components\34\1103\1.0.0.0\NagentFlags]
"hwinv"=dword:00000000

Restart the Network Agent services after making changes to the registry.
Use the commands net stop klnagent; net start klnagent
