How to move unassigned devices to a group of managed computers

The article concerns the following versions of Kaspersky Security Center 10:

  • Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0)
  • Service Pack 2 Maintenance Release 1 (version 10.4.343)
 
 
 
 

Unassigned devices are not included into any managed groups. The Administration Server detects unassigned devices during network polling

You can move the detected devices to managed groups manually or automatically.  

To move the devices automatically:

  1. Open Kaspersky Security Center 10.
  2. Go to Unassigned devices and click Configure rules.
  3. Click Add
  4. Configure a new rule and select the Enable rule checkbox.
  5. Click OK.

To move the device manually:

  1. Open Kaspersky Security Center 10.
  2. Go to Unassigned devices
  3. In the context menu, select Move to Group.
  4. Select the group and click OK.
