When using Oracle DBMS on a host with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition installed, Kaspersky Lab technical specialists recommend that you exclude from scanning the following Oracle files:

File type Comments Example
Data files Oracle data files with extension .dbf  …\oracle\oradata\*.dbf
Log files Files with extension .logNote: og files will exist when creating/restoring database backup copies. ...\oracle\inventory\logs\*.log
Redo files Real-time Oracle execution file. *.rdo
Control files Control files with extension .ctl  …\oracle\oradata\*.ctl
