The article concerns the following versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows: 

  • Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 4 (version 10.2.6.3733)
  • Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 3 (version 10.2.5.3201)
  • Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 2 (version 10.2.4.674)
 
 
 
 

Kaspersky Endpoint Security SP1 for Windows has the following installation limitations:

  • If you encounter the message "The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing" when installing on Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, click Continue Anyway.
    To disable such notifications, follow the Microsoft instructions before you start installing Kaspersky Endpoint Security SP1 for Windows.
  • In some cases, after being installed on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003 or Server 2008, Kaspersky Endpoint Security SP1 for Windows may fail to start.
    This happens because Windows Trusted Root Certificate Store lacks the necessary root certificates for some reason. 
    Starting Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003 or Server 2008, operating systems automatically update Trusted Root Certificate Store. To fix the problem in these operating systems, configuring an Internet connection will be sufficient.
