Use fingerprint authentication
If your device runs Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication and fingerprint authentication is enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the master password.
If a device running the Android operating system has modified firmware, using fingerprint authentication with Kaspersky Password Manager can be unsafe. The fingerprint authentication feature is disabled in Kaspersky Password Manager on certain devices. Kaspersky Lab specialists consider that fingerprint access to the app might be unsafe on those devices.
Use fingerprint authentication
- Unlock the vault by entering the master password and tapping Unlock.
- In the main app window, tap
or swipe the screen to the right.
The quick access bar appears on the left.
- On the quick access bar, tap Settings.
- Select the Unlock with fingerprint checkbox.
Now you can unlock the vault using any fingerprint stored on your device.
