About data provision

You can view information about the data provided to Kaspersky Lab using previous version of the application.

The user agrees to automatically submit the information listed below for the following specified purposes:

For the purpose of identify new information security threats and their sources, and to improve the level of protection of information stored and handled by the User:

For the purpose of improving the performance of the product:

For the purpose of quickly identifying and fixing errors associated with the mechanism for installing, removing, or upgrading the product, and to account for the number of users

The date and duration of software installation on the Computer, the software localization language, the name and type of software, the ID of the software configuration version, the ID of the partner from which the license was purchased, the type of software installation on the Computer (first installation, upgrade, etc.), the installation success indicator or the installation error number, the ID of the type of computer, the indicator of software installation cancellation by the User, and the indicator of whether the User participates in KSN.

For the purpose of improving the adaptive protection scenarios

Information about the name and type of the device, the operation system of the device, the device’s manufacturer, the ID of the user’s device (SHA2), and the technology used to obtain this data.

For all purposes listed above:

Kaspersky Lab protects any information received in this way as prescribed by law and applicable rules of Kaspersky Lab. Data is transmitted over a secure channel.

You consent to the fact that the delivered software is preconfigured to send software memory dumps to the Rightholder for the purpose of improving the performance of the software. Data recorded in memory dump files includes the following information:

If a web activity monitoring component is enabled in the software, the memory dump may contain parts of web pages and web requests that may also include user names, passwords, payment details or other confidential information.

Kaspersky Lab protects any information received in this way as prescribed by law and applicable rules of Kaspersky Lab. The originally collected information is destroyed when the product support term ends.

This automatic memory dump submission function can be enabled or disabled during software operation.

If you do not want software memory dumps to be submitted to the Rightholder, you must not activate the memory dump submission setting or you must disable the memory dump submission setting as described in the User Guide.
