Scenario: Integrating Kaspersky security applications into SolarWinds RMM

This scenario describes the overall sequence of actions that you perform to integrate your Kaspersky security applications into SolarWinds RMM by means of Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds RMM.

Integration of Kaspersky security applications into SolarWinds RMM by means of Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds RMM proceeds in stages.

1. Preparing information for setting up an integration.

   Check the prerequisites to integrate your Kaspersky security applications successfully with SolarWinds RMM. You will have to provide these settings in the next steps of this scenario.

2. Deploying Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds RMM.

   Download the Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds RMM distribution kit from the Kaspersky web site and deploy the downloaded files.

3. Running the virus scan and anti-virus database update on a device.

   Run the KasperskyUpdateTask or KasperskyScanTask automated task.

4. Viewing anti-virus protection status of devices.

   View the anti-virus protection status of an individual device.

5. Deploying Kaspersky security applications on devices.

   You can take an installation package from Kaspersky Security Center or Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, and deploy it on devices.

After you complete the above stages, Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds RMM will be installed and configured, your devices will be protected and managed, and you will be able to monitor the anti-virus protection status of your devices.
