Kaspersky applications may display a message about limited protection in some versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 (including the latest updates received via Windows Insider).

This happens if the operating system on the device is updated to a new version that is yet unknown to a Kaspersky application. Such an update changes the internal programming interfaces that Kaspersky applications use to run some of their protection features.

The overall level of protection of your device is not compromised, as Kaspersky takes a multi-layered approach to protection.

The security and performance of Kaspersky applications is our top priority. We are aware of possible compatibility problems and monitor the new ones. We are taking the necessary measures to remove the limitations as soon as possible. When the issue is resolved, your applications will be updated automatically.
