"Internal Error 2318" when installing or uninstalling the app

When installing or uninstalling a Kaspersky application, an error may occur with the message "Internal Error 2318".

Solution

  1. Uninstall your Kaspersky application using the kavremover tool. See this article for instructions.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. If the error occurred during the installation, download the latest version of the app from the Kaspersky website and try installing it again.
