Adding a new application

To add an application to Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers, you need to fill out a form and submit the application for review. After the application has successfully passed review, you can manually publish it in the Kaspersky Appicenter application showcase, Kaspersky Security Center, and devices running KasperskyOS.

Before filling out the form, do the following:

To add an application to Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers:

  1. On the Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers portal, select the Applications section in the main menu and click the Add application button.

    A form for adding a new application will be displayed.

    You can also go to the form for adding a new application from the main page of the portal by clicking the Add application button.

    The fields in the form are grouped into several sections. You can go to a specific section using the navigation on the right. After you correctly fill in all the required fields in one section, a confirmation icon appears in the navigation next to the name of this section.

    The entered information is saved automatically. While filling out the form, you can also save the entered information without submitting the form by clicking the Save as draft button in order to fill out the form later. This button becomes active when you have filled in at least one field in the form.

  2. In the Application upload section, do the following:
    1. In the KPA file field, upload the application file.

      Make sure that the application complies with the design and content requirements described in the Application Distribution Rules. The application must be signed with the private key whose corresponding public key has been added or will be added in Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers. The maximum file size is 500 MB.

    2. In the Electronic signature field, upload the application's electronic signature file in the SIG format.

      An electronic signature file is created automatically when an application is signed with a private key. An electronic signature is required to verify the integrity of the application and the authenticity of the signer. The maximum file size is 1 MB.

    3. In the Version field, specify the application version.
  3. In the General section, do the following:
    1. In the Application category field, select the category that your application will be published in. You can only select one category.

      You cannot change the category after the application has been published.

    2. In the Development platform field, select the platform you developed the application for from those available in the drop-down list.
    3. The Distribution geography field specifies the country or region where the application will be available. By default, All countries is selected. You cannot change the value in this field.
  4. In the About the application section, specify the following information about the application being added, which will be displayed in Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers, the Kaspersky Appicenter application showcase, Kaspersky Security Center, and on devices running KasperskyOS:

    Make sure that the information you provide complies with the design and content requirements described in the Application Distribution Rules.

    1. In the Short name field, specify the name of the application that will be displayed in the list of applications.
    2. In the Full name field, specify the name that will be displayed on the application's information page.
    3. In the Short description field, enter a description of the application that will be displayed as a tagline in the list of applications.

      The short description can describe the main purpose of the application.

    4. In the Full description field, specify a description of the application that will be displayed on the application page.

      The full description can describe in detail the purpose and capabilities of the application.

    5. In the Privacy Policy field, upload a file with the text of the Privacy Policy in PDF or TXT format.
    6. In the End User License Agreement field, upload a file with the text of the End User License Agreement in PDF or TXT format.
  5. In the Application languages block, the corresponding field shows the interface language supported by the application. By default, the interface language is Russian.

    You cannot change the value in this field.

  6. In the Graphics section, upload the following graphic files, which will be displayed in the list of applications and on the application's information page:

    Make sure that the uploaded graphic files comply with the requirements for the design and content of information described in the Application Distribution Rules.

    1. In the Application icon field, load an application icon in PNG format.

      You can upload only one icon.

    2. In the Screenshots field, upload screenshots of the application in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format.

      You can upload up to four images.

  7. In the Technical Support section, provide information about your company's technical support service, which application users can contact to provide their feedback:
    1. In the Contact details field, specify the email address, website, or phone number of your company's technical support service.
    2. In the Working hours list, select when users can contact technical support: 24 hours a day or during specific hours.

      To select business hours, select Select manually and specify the start and end times for technical support in the UTC+03:00 time zone.

  8. When you have filled in all the required fields and are ready to publish the application, click the Submit for review button.

    The button becomes active only after you fill in all the required fields on the form. If the button is inactive, make sure that you have filled in all the fields and that there is a confirmation icon next to each block name in the navigation list.

The uploaded application and related files will be sent for review. The application status will be indicated in the application list in the Applications section. After the review is complete, you will receive an email with the results.

If the application passes verification, its status will change to Ready for publication. You need to publish the application manually so that users can view information about it in the Kaspersky Appicenter application showcase and install it on devices running KasperskyOS.
