Processing failed

Error occurred during object execution.

Try to execute the object again later. If the problem reoccurs, please contact your Kaspersky Research Sandbox administrator.

Incorrect password

Failed to unpack the archive because of incorrect password.

To execute the object, click the (rescan) button, make sure the correct password is specified in the Password field, and then start object execution again.

Invalid archive

Failed to identify the archive format.

To execute the object, try to compress the object into a supported archive format again, or upload it unpacked.

Invalid object size

Failed to execute the object because it is a zero-length file or exceeds a size limit.

To execute the object, make sure that the object contains data and its size does not exceed 1024 MB.

YARA processing error

Error occurred during scanning by YARA rules, but not related to the syntax of YARA rules.

Try to scan the object again later. If the problem reoccurs, please contact your Kaspersky Research Sandbox administrator.

Syntax error

Error occurred during uploading a YARA file or scanning by YARA rules due to failed rules validation.

The error message contains the line number, in which the error was found, and the error description.

Update and upload the YARA rules file and try to scan the object again later.

Invalid archive files count

No objects detected in the archive or there are too many objects in the archive.

To execute the object, make sure you have packed only one object, and start the execution again.

Unknown file type

Failed to automatically detect the object type, the object was not executed.

If you know the object type, manually enter the object extension in the Change file name and extension to field in the Advanced options section, and start the execution task.

Only static analysis results are available. VNC access recommended.

Full analysis results are not available with current task parameters.

It is recommended to use VNC mode for multi-file archives.

Microsoft Windows environment is not installed

By default, Microsoft Windows environment is not installed in Kaspersky Research Sandbox. It is required to process Windows specific files.

Set up the Windows environment and try to execute the object again.

The objects' file format cannot be processed in selected environment

File format is unknown for the selected execution environment.

We recommended to select another execution environment or customize the selected environment image.
