Templates tab
On the Templates tab, you can view and manage templates for creating custom execution environments.
For each template, the following information is displayed:
- Name—Template name. Clicking the name takes you to the Configure template page, where you can install and setup of operating system. You can stop and continue the setup in any time. Also, template description (if available) is displayed. You can add or edit the description at any time.
- State—Label that indicates the template state.
- Type—Template type (custom or default).
- Created and updated—Date and time when the template was created and last updated, login of the user who created and updated the template.
- Details—Information about the template:
- Storage media—Storage media that is used for the template.
- Channel—Network channel that is used to access the internet. Kaspersky Research Sandbox displays a channel that was specified during creating or editing the template. If a network channel is not selected, the "—" symbol is displayed.
- MS Office—Microsoft Office version. If MS Office is not installed, the "—" symbol is displayed.
- Windows—Microsoft Windows version. If Microsoft Windows is not selected, the "—" symbol is displayed.
- Environment—Execution environments created based on the template.
- Action—Depending on the template state, the following actions are available:
- Delete—You can delete the selected template.
- Run—You can run the selected template.
- Unmount—You can unmount a storage media for the selected template.
- Export—You can download the selected template as a .tar archive.
- Deploy—You can deploy the selected template. New execution environment will be created based on the template.
- Shut down—You can shut down a running template.
- Activate Win—You can activate Microsoft Windows using your own activation code.
- Activate Office—You can activate Microsoft Office using your own activation code.
Also on the Templates tab, you can add or import templates to Kaspersky Research Sandbox, and view and stop active import processes.
