Managing audio playback and recording devices in the connection panel

You can connect several audio playback and recording devices to a thin client running Kaspersky Thin Client via a mini-jack or USB port to redirect these to the remote environment. In the Kaspersky Thin Client interface, you can switch between connected devices.

Audio volume and other settings are managed from the remote environment.

When connecting to a remote environment deployed in the Citrix Workspace infrastructure, redirection of more than two USB devices simultaneously is not supported.

Connection via mini-jack is not supported on Dell Wyse 3040 thin clients.

To select audio playback and recording devices in a remote session:

  1. Restore the connection panel and click the Audio. button in the opened panel.
  2. In the opened window, select the audio playback device from the Output list and select the audio recording device from the Input list.

If the device you want to use does not appear in the list, check the redirection settings in the application that you used to connect to the remote environment, or contact your company administrator.
