Creating a network template

To create a network template:

1. In the main menu of the Open Single Management Platform Console, go to the Application & Services → NGFW section.
2. Select the Network templates tab.
3. Click the Create button in the upper part of the table.

   This opens the template creation window.

4. In the System information → Summary section, enter the name of the network template in the Name field.
5. Specify the settings in the relevant sections as necessary. The template contains the following sections with network settings:
   • Interfaces contains settings of network interfaces and subinterfaces of Kaspersky NGFW.

     You can create interfaces and subinterfaces in a template, and these will be inherited by devices to which this template is applied. Devices you create are associated with real interfaces by name.

   • In the Routing section:
     • BGP contains settings of the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for route leaking.
     • OSPF contains settings of the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol for route leaking.
     • Routing filters contains settings for filtering routes and traffic packets between Kaspersky NGFW devices and external network devices.
     • Static routes contains settings of static routes.
     • VRF contains settings of virtual routing and forwarding tables (VRF).
   • System information → Connection to orchestrator contains settings for connecting a Kaspersky NGFW device to the orchestrator.
6. Click Create.

The network template is created and appears in the table of templates.
