About user roles in Kaspersky Next

A role in Kaspersky Next consists of a set of rights to perform certain actions with objects of Kaspersky Next.

In Kaspersky Next there are two roles:

• Administrator

  Administrators can configure Kaspersky Next by, for example, adding users, adding computers and mobile devices, configuring security profiles, and providing administrator rights to users.

  The users whose accounts are granted administrator rights in Kaspersky Next also acquire Kaspersky Business Hub administrator rights within an organization (including the Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 workspace for the same company).

• User

  Users can install a security application on their devices (computers and mobile devices).

  The Kaspersky application that protects computers, mobile devices, and data stored on them from malware. One of the following Kaspersky applications can be employed as your security application:

  • For Windows devices: Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows
  • For Mac devices: Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac
  • For Android devices: Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android
