Limitations in Client-Side Caching (CSC) support while using encryption in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows

The virtual file system does not support file operations performed via Client-Side Caching service (CSC). These file operations include:
  • Synchronization of offline shared files in shared folders.
  • Encrypting/decrypting offline files.
  • Implementation of the BranchCaching technology for file servers using SMB.
  • Current and future implementations of any products that use the CSC service.

Kaspersky Lab engineers recommend that you should use group policies to disallow offilne availability of shared resources.
