Recommended exclusions from scan for Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows installed on SharePoint Server 2007/2010

When File Anti-Virus scans SharePoint Server folders, SharePoint Server may start functioning incorrectly. For example, the "access denied" error may occur during the files upload to the server.

When you install Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows on a computer with SharePoint Server 2007, we recommend that you exclude the following areas from scan (add them to the trusted zone):

• SharePoint Server 2007:
  • The entire installation folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers
  • Or specific folders:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\12.0\Data
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\12.0\Logs
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\12.0\Bin
• SharePoint Server 2010:
  • The entire installation folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers
  • Or specific folders:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\Data
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\Logs
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\Bin
