What's new in the latest version of the application

The latest version of the application introduces the following new features and improvements:

• The Privacy section now includes the Violation Control feature for detecting installed legitimate applications that can be used by criminals to damage your computer or user data.
• Customer Service experience is improved. The application now includes a link to Customer Service chat (may not be available in all versions of the application).
• The Smart Home Monitor now includes a link that lets you download and install the Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection application on your router.
• Improved the layout of the Store window: grouping of offers, their priority, labels for new and recommended offers.
• Added new events to the Timeline section of the main window of the application, updated texts of existing events.
• After UX testing, improved the Problem recording feature that lets your record videos of problems that you can submit to Customer Service.
• New tips added to the main window of the application.
• Improved component status texts on main screens of the application: statuses were made uniform.
• Searching for unused applications on the user's computer will be carried out automatically. If such applications are detected, a notification will be displayed.
• Improved notification texts for the App Updater component.
• Now you can configure port-based exclusions for the Network Attack Blocker component.
• Added a prompt for switching to the trial version of Kaspersky Premium.
• Implemented the mechanism for migrating Kaspersky Free and Kaspersky Security Cloud – Free users to the new range of Kaspersky products.
• Improved the process for creating a Safe Money profile: at the first start of Protected Browser, a prompt is displayed asking if you want to create a new profile from scratch or copy data from the user account in your browser. Subsequently, data is not kept synchronized between browsers.
• The Backup and Restore window now includes a notification about the need to log into Dropbox to save backup copies to the online storage.
• Solved problems with captcha unreadability and repeated captcha requests when using My Kaspersky.
• The automatic search for large files is disabled by default, regardless of whether it was enabled in previous versions of the application.
