Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Service Pack 2 for Mac was released on February 19, 2018. The full version number is 10.2.0.267.

What's new

  • Added FileVault 2 encryption activation and management via Kaspersky Security Center (only available in Kaspersky Security Center 10 SP3). For more information, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support.
  • Improved application performance.
  • The following issues have been fixed:
    • An issue causing local tasks to occasionally have blank names in Kaspersky Security Center.
    • Notifications about password-protected archives don't appear anymore on a client computer if the corresponding checkbox is not selected in the policy settings applied to the client computer.
    • Kaspersky Endpoint Security doesn't cause Websocket traffic corruption anymore.
    • An issue where Kaspersky Endpoint Security occasionally stopped responding after running continuously for 2–3 weeks.

Known issues and limitations

  • In Kaspersky Security Center, new policy profiles do not inherit the settings of the parent policy.
  • If a new Update task is run shortly after updating the application, the Update failed message may be displayed in Protection Center even if the new update was successful. Application databases remain up to date. The message disappears after a longer period passes between updates and another scheduled or manual update task is completed successfully.
  • This version of the application is not compatible with Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. You can download the installation package that is compatible with Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud in your workspace.
