Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud 6.0 was released on May 17, 2018.
What's new
- A new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows is available.
- There is now support for server operating systems as part of the Behavior Detection, Remediation Engine, and Exploit Prevention components.
- The update to the new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows can be automatically installed remotely in the Management Console by using the update task.
- The names of the some protection components have been changed:
- The new name for the File Anti-Virus component is File Threat Protection.
- The new name for the Mail Anti-Virus component is Mail Threat Protection.
- The new name for the Web Anti-Virus component is Web Threat Protection.
- The new name for the Network Attack Blocker component is Network Threat Protection.
- The System Watcher component has been split into the following components: Behavior Detection, Remediation Engine, and Exploit Prevention.
- The "Devices" section now provides the capability to view the user group to which the device owner belongs.
- A separate Licenses tab has been added in the window containing the list of workspaces. If a license is being used in multiple workspaces, you can view the total usage of the license on the Licenses tab.
- There have been a number of refinements made to comply with the requirements of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
