Product news

Kaspersky Security 10 for Mobile Service Pack 4 Maintenance Release 3 Update 1 was released on November 12, 2019. The release includes:

  • Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android app (version number 10.8.3.6)
  • Administration plug-in for Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Android SP4 MR2 (version number 10.8.3.5)
  • Administration plug-in for Kaspersky Device Management for iOS 10 SP4 MR3 (version number 10.8.3.1)

What's new

  • We have added:
    • The capability to disable notifications and pop-up messages when the app is in background mode. If you disable notifications and pop-up messages when the app is in background mode, the app will not warn users about threats in real time. Mobile device users can learn the device protection status only when they open the app. To disable notifications and pop-up messages, select the checkbox in Additional section of the policy.
    • The capability to accept the End User License Agreement in the VMware AirWatch. If the administrator accepted the License Agreement in an AirWatch Console, the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android will skip the acceptance step in the Initial Configuration Wizard.
    • The Statement regarding data processing for the purpose of using Web Protection (Web Protection Statement). You must accept the statement to use Web Protection. The Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android uses Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) to scan websites. The Web Protection Statement contains the Terms and Conditions of data exchange with KSN. You can accept the Web Protection Statement in the policy or request acceptance from a device user.
  • We have verified the support of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android in the Microsoft Intune environment (Enterprise Mobility Management component). To ensure correct work with third-party EMMsolutions, Kaspersky participates in AppConfig Community.
  • Several errors have been fixed, and operational stability has been improved.
