Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition: Service Pack 2 has been released on April 8, 2015. Full version number is 8.0.2.213.

What's new in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition: Service Pack 2

  • New functionality of protecting network storages using the ICAP protocol has been added (EMC Isilon, Hitachi).
  • The new Application integrity control on-demand task has been added. The task checks digital signatures of the application modules for validity.
  • Antivirus databases can now be updated in the RAM. This reduces the disk I/O of a server, at the expense of the RAM.

Fixed issues

  • Some bugs found in the process of integration with NetApp and Hitachi network storages using the RPC protocol have been fixed. When working with the Cluster Mode of NAS, a correct application name and version is now passed to the network storage.
  • URLs of the type ftp://user:password@192.168.1.2/folder can now be set as an update source.
  • Selector of the product location from the list of countries has been removed from the Update task properties. This functionality is no longer supported by the update servers.
  • The Action field in the Kaspersky Security Center Virus Report is now filled correctly in cases when a virus was removed from an archive.
  • The issue leading to the Script Checker agent crash on 64-bit system has been fixed.
  • The network storage protection tasks no longer affect the product state.
  • The speed of exporting the application reports from the Administration Tools has been optimized.
