Failed to connect to the remote desktop of the computer with Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for PC installed

If you cannot connect to the remote desktop of the computer with Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for PC installed, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for Personal Computer.
  2. At the bottom of the main application window, click Settings.

Open Settings in Kaspersky Small Office Security 4 for PC

  1. In the Settings window, go to the Protection section and select Firewall in the right frame.

Select Firewall

  1. In the Firewall settings window, click the Configure packet rules link.

Click the Configure packet rules link

  1. In the Packet rules window, select Remote Desktop from the left column.
  2. Click Edit.

Select Remote Desktop

  1. In the Action section, select Allow.
  2. Click Save.

Select Allow in the Action section
