How to configure notifications about license term expiration and exceeded purchased license limit

The article concerns the following versions of Kaspersky Security Center 10:

  • Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0)
  • Service Pack 2 Maintenance Release 1 (version 10.4.343)
 
 
 
 

Kaspersky Security Center 10 is able to register events about license term expiration and exceeded purchased license limit. 

How to configure notifications about exceeded purchased license limit

  1. Open the properties of the Administration Server.
  2. Go to Event notification.
  3. Select the event:
    • Go to the Critical event tab. Select License restriction has been exceeded. The number of devices on which the license is in use exceeds the number of purchased licenses by 10%. 
    • Go to the Warning tab. Select License restriction has been exceeded. The number of devices on which the license is in use is equal to the number of purchased licenses.
    • Go to the Info tab. Select Over 90% of this key is used up. The limit for the number of purchased licenses will be reached soon. If the number of devices in the network increases, you must purchase additional licenses. 
  4. Click Properties.

  1. Configure the settings. Click OK

How to configure notifications about license term expiration

  1. Open the properties of the Administration Server.
  2. Go to Event notification.
  3. Select the event:
    • Go to the Critical event tab. Select License term expires soon. The license term has expired completely. 
    • Go to the Warning tab. Select License term expires soon. The license term will expire soon. A notification will appear 14 days before the expiration date, and then every day until the license expires.
  4. Click Properties.
  5. Configure the settings. Click OK
 
 
 
 

How to configure notifications about license issues in the application interface 

  1. In the Administration Console, open the Policies tab. 
  2. Open the properties for the policy and go to the Interface settings.
  3. Select or clear the checkbox Problems with license.
  4. Click OK

How to create a report about used licenses

  1. Go to Administration ServerReports.
  2. Select the Key usage report
  3. Right-click and select Show report from the shortcut menu.
