By default, users of the Administrators and KAVWSEE Administrators groups that are created on the protected server during installation, have access to all Kaspersky Security for Windows Server functions.  Users who have access to the Edit permissions feature, can grant permissions to other domain users and users registered on the protected server.

If the user is not registered in the list of application users, it is not possible to view the Kaspersky Security for Windows Server console.

You can grant the following levels of access to Kaspersky Security for Windows Server for users or user groups:

  • Full control – permission to access all application functions
  • Modification – permission to access all application functions except for managing other users' permissions
  • Reading – a permission to view the application components, general application properties, settings of features and tasks, statistics, and user permissions.

You can also configure more specific permissions by allowing or denying access to particular application features.
