Joint operation with previous versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum

If you update Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 3.0 only on selected devices in your infrastructure, the other devices remain protected by earlier versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum. The Kaspersky Endpoint Agent web plug-in still supports the earlier versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum.

Joint operation with Kaspersky Sandbox

If Kaspersky Sandbox 1.0 is also used in your infrastructure, the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent web plug-in supports this solution on the devices.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 11.7 and later as part of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 3.0 is compatible with Kaspersky Sandbox 2.0 and later. For synchronous detections of Kaspersky Sandbox, you can open the alert details provided by Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum.

When different EPP applications of the Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum solution and Kaspersky Sandbox run together within the same infrastructure, a separate Kaspersky Sandbox 1.0 server must be provided for the devices protected by Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent or Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 11.2-11.6, and a separate Kaspersky Sandbox 2.0 server must be provided for the devices protected by Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 11.7 and later.

Joint operation with Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response

A license to use Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response lets you use the Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum solution as well. However, only some response actions provided by the Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum solution are available for responding to Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response incidents. If both solutions attempt to apply the same response action at the same time, the action is applied by only one of the solutions.

Response actions suggested by SOC analysts and taken by security experts in Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response are not displayed in the settings, policies, and tasks of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum.
