Scenario: Local update using Kaspersky Security Center Web Console

A local update of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 3.0 consists of the following steps:
- Updating the solution for centralized network security management
Update Kaspersky Security Center Windows to version 14.2 or Kaspersky Security Center Linux to version 15.1, including the Network Agent components on user computers and Kaspersky Security Center Web Console on Windows or Linux.
- Installing a new version of the web plug-in
Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.5, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac 12.1, or Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux 12.1 web plug-in.

- Completing the Policy and Task Migration Wizard
Skip this step if you are updating Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum from version 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3.
Start the Policy and Task Migration Wizard and go through all the steps in the wizard.
- Updating EPP applications
Update EPP applications to a version that supports Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 3.0 functionality on the devices you want to protect.
