What's new in this version

This Help applies to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac version 11.2.1.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security offers the following new features and improvements:

• Extensions are now installed automatically. The application automatically monitors the appearance of the full disk access rights and starts installing the required system extensions as soon as the rights are granted.
• During scanning of the specified areas, exceptions are now handled at the level of file operation intercepts.
• Switching network profiles is now supported in the Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent.
• General bug fixes and improvements including:
  • The scan task is not started now if your Mac is using battery power and the Skip scheduled tasks when running on battery power option is enabled.
  • The application now scans only new and modified files if the Scan only new and modified files option is enabled.
  • The bug where a completed scan task ran again after every restart is fixed.
  • The scan task now stops if the Skip if scan takes longer than N seconds timeout parameter is specified.
